Hello! My name is Hilary and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I’m so honored to be part of the Three Oaks team as a clinician. I am passionate about early intervention work and young child therapy and I can't wait to join you and your family on your therapy journey.

I earned my Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan and hold a license in Clinical Social Work in the states of North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Colorado.

I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, families, and caregivers in a variety of settings including Intensive In-Home and Outpatient work, as well as completing developmental assessments for children ages birth to six entering foster care. I also have experience as a Clinical Supervisor overseeing fully licensed and provisionally licensed clinicians, and student interns.

The focus of my career is supporting children presenting with an assortment of concerns, and have specific expertise in working with children experiencing post-traumatic stress, attachment difficulties, and behavioral difficulties. I am rostered with Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) International as a clinician, as well as a Within Agency Trainer (WAT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Problematic Sexual Behavior Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT) in both the preschool (3-6 years old) and school-aged (7-12 years old) models.

I believe deeply in the power of play for all, regardless of age. For children, play is a method of learning new things, communicating with their trusted grown-ups, and understanding the world. For adults, play offers an opportunity to slow down and practice mindfulness. And play doesn’t always need to be coloring pictures or building with blocks! The very foundation of play is built on connection with ourselves, and the world around us. It is amazing how effective and sustainable play can be as a tool for growth in all facets of life.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking and exploring nature, yoga, and walking my golden retriever.

It is a brave thing to reach out for help and support. When you’re ready to take that step, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m looking forward to connecting with you.
