Who We Are

Three Oaks is a team of deeply passionate, highly skilled, and intensively trained providers that believe therapy is a process of growth & self-discovery, thus making the experience uniquely yours. Whatever your needs may be, we are here to offer objective, non-judgmental, and clinical support. Stated simply, we are committed to your wellness and feel enormously grateful to walk alongside you during this part of your journey.

At Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness, transformation is promoted through the teachings and use of evidence based (research supported!) practices. Therapists at Three Oaks integrate several treatment modalities to assist our clients with implementation of new learning into daily interactions. Integration of advanced techniques in daily life encourages the adoption of new attitudes, feelings, and behaviors through skills use, cognitive shifts, and somatic (body) work.

We are honored to share in this work, and look forward to welcoming you to the practice!

Testimonials

“I will never be able to thank you enough. I feel so free, for the first time. I feel like I know who I am now and I can’t wait to keep working towards my goals. Thank you for helping me figure everything out”

“I have never felt more understood or supported by a therapist. Casie was always so approachable and I never felt nervous or weird to talk to her about anything. I made so much progress because I felt like I could be open.”

“This may seem weird to say but I really liked that we didn’t always just talk. I feel like I learned so many skills and that is really what changed things for me. You are a great teacher and really patient. Thank you for answering all of my questions and for teaching me so many things. My life is better since I have known you.”

“Every detail of the office is thought out. I get there early sometimes to charge my phone and enjoy a cup of coffee before I start sessions. It feels so welcoming. I love coming here.”

True transformation occurs when one can dive deep into issues of the heart. Emdr has given me permission to go deeper in a way that no other therapy has done in a safe and nurturing environment. I came in wanting to work on sleep issues and have experienced great progress in sleeping more peacefully. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to both process my trauma and release it from defining who I am.

“An extremely supportive group of professionals who are helping so many find balance and healing!”

EMDR has been deeply transformative by kindling peace, healing, and a stronger sense of self. I experienced remarkable clarity on how my past was affecting me and coloring my present. Sessions first create a safe foundation in the present before bringing traumatic memories to rest. I highly recommend this journey!

“A fantastic place to find mental help. I have seen Meg for a few sessions so far, and it has been very cathartic as she has helped me already find some positive light in the world. A nice, clean and quiet office space, with a calming aesthetic, its easy to relax before a session. If you are looking for someone to help you work through some things, this is a wonderful place to look.”

“An awesome group that is passionate about helping people. They obviously love what they do. The office is beautiful and soothing. This is also a great referral spot for DBT groups!”

“Of all the therapists I could have found, I will forever be grateful that Elizabeth and I crossed paths. She not only listened to me with compassion, she helped me figure out things about myself that I wouldn’t have been able to learn on my own. Thanks to our conversations, I was able to grow in my self-confidence and start building more on my strengths. When I vented, I felt listened to, understood, and validated. She also helped me in my search for an ADHD diagnosis and pointed me in the direction of which resources would help me.

Thanks to Elizabeth, I understand myself better. I have more compassion for myself. I’m beginning to believe something my mind has been fighting me on since I was a kid — that my thoughts and feelings are just as valid as everyone else’s. On the surface, it feels like such a simple idea, but she broke through decades of self-doubt and got it across to me in a way that made me truly BELIEVE in that message.

I’m so glad that I got to have Elizabeth as my therapist. She really is the best.”

I got trained in EMDR because, I am a client who feels the benefits of it.The empowerment that it feels to realize that you are not bound forever to your trauma and their symptoms is truly freeing. EMDR has helped me understand as a human and as a thearpist the power of our brains natural healing process. We truly can feel alive again and trust our bodies. Having clients leave my office with a spark of hope that shakes off darkness is such a gift. I will be forever grateful for this intervention. –Mackenzie Van Remortel, MA, LMFT | (she/her)
