Hi! Welcome! My name is Anna (she/her), and I am an Outpatient Psychotherapist at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness in Garner. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (P017928) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCASA-28364). I earned a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Human Biology from North Carolina State University (go Wolfpack!), and a master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and a Graduate Certificate in Addiction Counseling from East Carolina University.

You deserve to feel accepted, heard, and validated. Therapy is a safe environment where you can be YOU without fear of judgement or shame.

My role in serving you is not to do the work for you, but to assist you in navigating through your own journey of recovery, and whatever that means for you. My hope is that through the therapeutic process, you will feel empowered to build and live out your best life! My therapeutic approach is strengths-based and person-centered – I will meet you where you are! I utilize the treatment modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or talk therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness, and components of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am passionate about working with adult individuals with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders. I also have experience and enjoy working with individuals with legal issues or criminal justice involvement (whether that be self, spouse, or a family member), and individuals with Christianity/faith and life balance challenges.

In my free time, I enjoy kayaking, riding ATVs, spending time with my husband and our dog, and trying out new restaurants and food with friends.
