Caitlin Colletti (she/her) is an Outpatient Psychotherapist at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness in Chapel Hill. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (C012329) with a B.A. in Sociology & French from Drew University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from North Carolina State University.
Caitlin creates a safe environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, drawing on a strengths-based perspective in her work. She enjoys working with clients facing challenges, transitions, and change including: new jobs, undergrad/graduate school, relationships, relocation, family of origin dynamics, and loss. Caitlin values meeting clients where they are; accepting and listening without judgment. She is also committed to supporting women in early adulthood to adulthood who are experiencing low self-worth, anxiety, relationship issues, and have a desire for more meaning in their lives. Caitlin is LGBTQIA+ allied and approaches her work with empathy. She uses unconditional positive regard in order to support clients in finding their own path towards healing and connection. Caitlin recognizes the strength and courage it can take to reach out for support and is dedicated to collaborating with clients in their therapeutic journey.
Her therapeutic approach draws from supportive counseling, the natural world, experiential therapies, and systems approaches. Caitlin is informed in and utilizes evidence-based treatment models including: Person-Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy, basic DBT Skills, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mindfulness.
