Elizabeth Brenneman (she/her), LCMHCA

Site Supervisor of Downtown Raleigh; Outpatient Psychotherapist in Downtown Raleigh

Works with ages 13-35

Elizabeth (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who earned her Master’s of Education in Counseling from North Carolina State University. She has a passion for supporting individuals through grief and loss, and she also enjoys working alongside clients who are experiencing anxiety, life transitions, relationship conflict, and identity exploration.

Elizabeth uses a strengths-based, person-centered approach to help clients find healing through compassionate exploration of their inner world. She approaches her work with empathy, meeting clients where they are to create a space that is warm, non-judgemental, and safe. Elizabeth acknowledges the vulnerability of intentional self-reflection, and she invites clients to collaborate with her as experts of their own stories. She uses a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT).

Elizabeth looks forward to working with individuals of all ages, especially adolescents and young adults. Elizabeth is LGBTQIA+ affirming and embraces clients of all backgrounds and identities – all parts of you are welcome here, and Elizabeth is honored to hear your story.

When Elizabeth is not working, she enjoys reading, listening to Taylor Swift, and planning her next trip!
