Sage (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (C016151) and an Outpatient Psychotherapist at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness providing teletherapy/virtual services. She earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Winston-Salem State University and received her Master’s in Social Work from North Carolina State University.
Sage’s approach to therapy is centered around authenticity and providing a supportive and nonjudgmental stance. Sage is devoted to building rapport and creating a safe space for all clients to address their challenges in an environment that fosters vulnerability, creativity, and confidence.
Sage is passionate about working with teens, young adults, and adults. She has specific focus in helping clients who are navigating life transitions, eating disorders, academic stressors, burnout, interpersonal conflict, as well as providing support to client’s and family members of those with physical disabilities.
Her younger sister has a Spinal Muscular Atrophy diagnosis that further fuels her passion in working with clients and family members navigating physical disabilities. She has four years of experience working with client’s and family members with eating disorder diagnosis and body image concerns. Her therapeutic approach is drawn upon from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
In Sage’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, going to concerts, shopping at the farmer’s market, bowling, making tie dyes, and finding the best places to eat in the area. She loves all things related to tattoos, piercings, cats, music, and pop culture.
