Simron is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate and an Outpatient Psychotherapist at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness at our Apex office. She graduated with her Master of Social Work with a concentration in Child and Family Mental Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
With a heart full of compassion and a playful spirit, Simron creates a nurturing space where children and adolescents can express themselves freely and explore their emotions in a supportive environment. She blends evidence-based therapies with an individualized touch, tailoring each session to suit your unique needs and preferences. Whether exploring emotions through interactive play and art, practicing mindfulness, or simply chatting over a cup of imaginary tea, she wants you to know that you're in a space where you can truly be yourself. She looks forward to joining you in your unique journey and guiding you toward cultivating self-awareness, self-compassion, and resilience, laying the foundation for lifelong emotional well-being.
Simron informs her practice with a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Play Therapy, Theraplay, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She has prior experience working with diverse children and adolescents (ages 3-18) with various presenting concerns including but not limited to, trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, attachment wounds, and relationship difficulties.
Simron recognizes that taking the first step towards therapy can feel overwhelming and believes you've already shown incredible strength by considering it.
