Outpatient Psychotherapist

Works with ages 9+
Cat is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and an Outpatient Psychotherapist at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Cat is passionate about working with adolescents and teenagers, female identifying survivors of sexual violence, individuals who are interested in exploring how their childhood has shaped their present experiences, and people struggling with anxiety, self- esteem and body image issues, and relationship difficulties.
In session, Cat strives to create a space where you can embrace your authentic self and explore who you are. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is rooted in trust, genuineness, and collaboration. Her goal is to promote self-awareness, increase psychological flexibility, and build self-esteem.
Cat utilizes various evidence-based treatment models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Attachment Based Therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness practices. She firmly believes in the resiliency of her clients, therefore a strengths-based approach is at the forefront of all of her work. Cat understands that there is not a “one-size fits all” approach to therapy. Her goal is to tailor your therapeutic experience to your individual goals and needs.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends, trying new restaurants, photography, listening to live music, and snuggling with her cat, Zeke.
