Finn Draper (they/he), MSW, LCSWA

Outpatient Psychotherapist in Downtown Raleigh

Works with ages 18+

Hi! My name is Finn Draper (they/he), and I am so excited to be an outpatient psychotherapist at Three Oaks. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA). I earned my undergraduate degree in English at Salem College, and my Masters in Social Work at NC State University. I am a queer, non-binary clinician, and I believe in creating an anti-racist and anti-ableist therapeutic space.

I have a passion for working with transgender, gender-expansive, and queer adults, as well as any adult working through their identity, going through stress around life changes, struggling with self-esteem or perfectionism, dealing with relationship issues, or living with anxiety, depression, or other neurodivergence (this includes if you are uncertain, self-diagnosed, or diagnosed later in life!). I believe that therapy should be a space where identity can be explored safely and without judgment, and the therapeutic relationship can be utilized to explore how to move through challenges and develop resilience.

In session, I use a variety of different modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time playing TTRPGs (Table-top Roleplaying Games), reading, and playing with my two cats (Ricky and Kugrash) as well as my dog (also named Finn- long story!).

If I sound like a good fit for you, then reach out to me at finn@threeoaksbehavioralhealth.com to set up a free 15 minute consultation call.
