Natasha St. Fort (she/her), MSSA, LCSW

Outpatient Psychotherapist in North Raleigh and Telehealth

Works with ages 16-40

Natasha (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW C017378) and an outpatient psychotherapist at Three Oaks Behavioral Health. She studied social work at Shaw University in Raleigh NC and graduated with her Bachelors of Social Work degree. She later enrolled in graduate school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland OH and graduated with her Masters of Science in Social Administration.

Natasha believes that it is important to vent to a “professionally trained friend” outside of your normal circle and receive the proper intervention and assistance you need to progress and flourish. She views therapy as a ball of yarn being untangled where the yarn signifies your thoughts. She comes from a background and culture where mental health was not taken as seriously as it is in this day and age. Now that she is aware and informed, It is extremely important for her to spread awareness and inform the people who want to be informed of the various ways to manage mental health. Natasha utilizes a person-centered strengths-based approach that incorporates psychoeducation with evidence-based practice including CBT, talk therapy, narrative therapy, trauma-informed therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness approaches.

Natasha’s area of specialization in graduate school was children, youth and families and she enjoyed working with the specific population, however through life changes of starting a family, and new experiences, she has developed a new passion for maternal health working with women navigating the journey of motherhood and the possibilities of postpartum depression, anxiety, stress, birth trauma, emotional attachment, breastfeeding, all things mom. Outside of the mom population, Natasha is LGBTQIA affirming and works well with teens , young adults (16-24), and adults (25-40) focusing on life transitions, self-esteem building, mood disorders, trauma, day to day stressors, decision making capability, boundary setting, healthy relationships, christianity and life balance, self-awareness, and whole health action management approach (mind body connection incorporation), physical fitness/body positivity).

Natasha wants you to feel at ease while in session with her and even be able to share a little laughter which she strongly believes is good for the soul. She spends most of her time outside of work exercising, laughing, spending time with her family, and continuing to help people, but with their fitness goals. She looks forward to working with you.
