Hi, I'm Traci! I understand that being human can sometimes feel overwhelming, and it often seems like we're missing something—like everyone else received a manual but us... If you’ve ever felt “other” or like you're "doing it wrong," I want you to know you're not alone. My approach to therapy is centered entirely around you—exploring who you are, why you move through the world the way you do, and how we can work together to help you create the life and changes you truly desire.

I see therapy as a sacred, safe space where you can be your authentic self, free from judgment. It’s a place to bring your challenges, your suffering, and your joys, and explore them with curiosity, empathy, and care. I truly believe that we are all in this together, that we are all "just walking each other home," as Ram Dass beautifully said. We're all just figuring out how to life, and there's no right or wrong way to navigate it—just a shared experience of growth and discovery.

I have experience in working with grief, chronic illness, relationship challenges, sexual health, trauma, and generational patterns. To complement traditional therapy, I offer alternative approaches like cooking therapy, food and mood counseling, art therapy, and emotional resiliency skills. I find that these creative, hands-on methods can often help break through barriers that words alone sometimes can't.

I have past work experiences at a therapy and recovery farm, where I supported individuals facing serious and persistent mental health challenges, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression. I was privileged to work closely with both individuals and their families, helping to create a holistic approach to treatment that honors each person’s journey. I also have experience with facilitating group therapy and specialized in utilizing food and cooking as intervention.

My therapeutic style is flexible and rooted in compassion. I integrate techniques from Motivational Interviewing (MI), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Rogerian principles to meet your unique needs. Together, we’ll create a path that resonates with your goals, values, and aspirations.

In my time away from the therapeutic space, I enjoy working in fiber arts and intertwining dyeing, sewing, and embroidery. I love spending time with my chosen family, cat, and house spiders. I enjoy going for walks to explore and marvel at the amazing biodiversity this world has to offer. You can often find me cooking, dancing, or reading.

Thank you for taking your time and energy reading my therapy profile and I look forward to discovering if we might be a good fit!

All parts of you are welcome here.
