Anna (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and an Outpatient Psychotherapist at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness in East Raleigh. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Florida and received her Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Anna’s approach to therapy is centered around building trust and safety, and meeting you where you are without judgement. She is devoted to creating an environment where each individual feels they have a safe place to use their voice regardless of their age and inclusive of all identities. Anna offers many creative tools, games, and interventions in the therapeutic space to assist in finding growth, resolution, support, and healing.
Anna is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as partnering with the family unit. She has experience with trauma, anxiety, depression, life & family transitions, struggles with self-esteem, self-confidence, and emotional regulation. She informs her practice with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed CBT, play therapy techniques, and systemic family growth models. Anna also has experience working with different cognitive, developmental, and physical abilities, as well as individuals with neurodiversity such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is especially passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma, and works to provide hope and healing with a trauma informed approach.
In her free time, Anna enjoys traveling, baking, crocheting, spending time outside with her animals, and going on adventures with family and friends! Welcome in, we look forward to getting to know all parts of you.
