Outpatient Psychotherapist

Cicely is scheduling clients virtually via telehealth.

Works with ages 21-65

Cicely is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Qualified Supervisor (License #12412,QS-139693). She earned her Bachelor of Science in English Education from Florida State University and her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Wake Forest University.

Cicely is passionate about creating a safe, kind, collaborative and judgment-free space where clients can attain new insights, experience new feelings, and find a renewed sense of physical and mental well-being. With over 10 years of professional counseling experience, she enjoys working with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, ‘people-pleasing’ tendencies, relationship/partnership conflict and infidelity. Cicely also has experience supporting adults in communication barriers, as well as individuals and couples going through divorce and life transitions such as parenting struggles.

Cicely draws from Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She believes that past experiences and traumas dating back to childhood strongly influence the way we feel about ourselves and our challenges in tolerating stress appropriately. Cicely will prompt you to explore your past and listen to repeating negative patterns.

By exploring and challenging these thoughts, the goal would be for you to overcome symptoms of depression and anxiety and begin to lead a life in which you feel more connected to yourself, others, and the world. Navigating life's challenges is never easy, but reaching out for help is a brave first step to living a more genuine and fulfilling life. Please reach out if you feel as though Cicely may be a good fit!
