Dakota Hoy (she/her)

Chief of People

Here at Three Oaks, we honor each team member as a human being first; employee second. Dakota (she/her) serves as head of Human Resources & Administration. As Chief of People at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness, her role encompasses just that: supporting our PEOPLE. Dakota leads our Onboarding Program and facilitates the orientation & welcoming of new team members. From an interested applicant's initial outreach to an employee's official start, she guides new folks into their beginning weeks at the practice. Dakota also presents as an administrative point-person to the clinical team members. She encourages the development and sustaining of Three Oaks' company culture, rooted in core value and aligned with the practice's vision & mission.

Dakota joined the Three Oaks team in May of 2019 when she moved to Raleigh from the DC area. Originally from Virginia Beach, she completed her degree in Health & Nutrition at George Mason University. Dakota enjoys reading (she's currently hooked on Sarah J. Maas & Taylor Jenkins Reid!), tending to her indoor plants, and trying out new crockpot recipes :)

Thank you for being; All parts of you are welcome here.

Our Why:

Because we [therapists, helpers, human-facing workers] deserve better. Three Oaks is on a mission to create a workplace where therapists can practice their calling while feeling supported, balanced, and nourished; resulting in truly extraordinary work and client care that does not contribute to or promote burnout. Global goal: play our part in helping as many HELPERS stay engaged in the field, and enjoy longevity in the industry, as long as possible. We believe that when helpers are cared for, they are able to practice, grow and develop their craft; leading to excellent client care and outcomes.
