Hi! My name is Hannah Loscalzo!  I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate serving as an Outpatient Psychotherapist here at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness as a part of the telehealth team.  I received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Campbell University, and my Masters of Arts in Marriage, Family, and Individual Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

I had the sincere privilege of starting my counseling career working with a homeless population where I was able to collaborate with clients and provide support in navigating through life changes, traumatic events, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, addictions, identifying and coping with emotions, identity and self esteem, building healthy boundaries, accomplishing life goals, and achieving other areas of desired growth.  This experience taught me in a very real and vivid way how important simple human relationship is to healing– even and especially in the counseling room. Though this has been the larger bulk of my experience in my career thus far, I also have a passion for working with couples and families on resolving relational conflicts, bettering their communication, increasing connection or intimacy in a positive manner, learning to hold space for one another, and just generally building a stronger foundation on which they can continue to build for years to come.

I believe in a holistic person-centered approach to therapy that takes into consideration a client’s context, and centers around building a collaborative relationship focused on trust, openness, and mutual respect in order to create a safe environment for my clients to feel heard, and encouraged to move toward their goals.  Healing is certainly not linear, so my goal is simply to provide the space that my clients need in order to make steps in growth, feel supported when they stumble, and to see stagnation as a learning opportunity.

When I’m not in the counseling room, you could probably find me baking (especially sweet treats), reading, hiking, or spending time with my 4 cats… and almost always drinking coffee!
