Kelly Daughtridge (she/her), MSW, LCSWA
Outpatient Psychotherapist at Midtown
Works with ages 8-21
Hi! My name is Kelly (she/her) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. I am so excited to be an Outpatient Psychotherapist here at Three Oaks. I attended North Carolina State University for my undergraduate and graduate degrees, where I received two B.A.s in psychology and criminology and, after a short break from school, returned to pursue my Master’s in Social Work.
I started my journey as a social worker in the public school system where I fell in love with working with children, teens, and young adults. I love every aspect of helping adolescents find themselves and navigate the difficult situations they are facing as a part of growing up.
I incorporate many different evidence-based practices as a therapist, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), art therapy, and mindfulness, all while focusing on the strengths of my client and catering my practice to their needs. I am excited to work with my clients to help them learn to identify and regulate their emotions, develop social-emotional skills, manage anxiety and depression symptoms, cope with academic and life stressors, and build their self-confidence.
I strive to create a warm, compassionate space where everyone feels welcome. I want therapy to be something you look forward to each week so we can build a strong relationship and work together to achieve your goals.
In my free time, you’ll find me going on walks in the park with my dog, crocheting, listening to music and attending concerts, and spending quality time with my friends and family.
